Pike River offers you the chance to do as little or as much as you would like during your stay with us. Our guests tell us it takes a day or two to relax and enjoy the site before they feel ready to explore the magnificent Riverland region.
Just outside your front door you have direct access to the Pike River where you can paddle for a short while in a kayak or spend a half or full day in your exclusive hobie kayak exploring the magnificent river system.
On site you can spend your day at the Pike River frontage, watching the birdlife drift in and out, take a stroll to see the sites own ‘power supply’ or visit a very special tree….
The last village settlement in South Australia- Lyrup is only a short 7km down the road where you can visit Tony Smiths art studio or follow the 120 year walking trail beginning at Ellen park(next to the ferry)
Days can be spent on site, the choice is yours.
Pike River sits perfectly positioned within a short drive of three of the major towns within the Riverland region- Renmark, Berri and Loxton. All 3 towns are within a short drive and will lead you to explore the myriad of other towns that encompass the area. Only. a short drive further sees you visiting Barmera and with Waikerie only an hour from Pike River, day trips will allow you the chance to visit a myriad of Riverland towns
